Recommended Reading
The following books have deeply touched me and shaped my understanding of Spiritualism, mediumship, healing, and life in the Spirit World.
I turn to them for inspiration.
Philosophy of Silver Birch
Silver Birch Series
Edited by Stella Storm (2012)
The Spiritual Truth Press
One of my all-time favorites. There is so much truth in the words of Silver Birch, which he explains in a down-to-earth manner. It is easy to understand, yet beautiful and inspiring to read.
Droplets of God
The Life and Philosophy of Mavis Pittilla
Suzanne Giesemann (2019)
One Mind Books
A page-tuner. I savored this book and will most definitely read it again. Her wonderful, warm-hearted and humble personality shines through. I wish I had met her. I know she was an outstanding tutor - probably still is from the Spirit World.
Fifty Years a Medium
Estelle Roberts

A calm and deeply interesting read about the life of one of the pioneers of Spiritualism. I especially enjoyed the gentle tone of the book and its reflections on Spiritualism and psychic phenomena.

In April, I came back with these four books in my luggage. There is a beautiful shop at the Arthur Findlay College where you can purchase these gems, and I stayed true to my motto "If you can't decide, buy them all." I have already started reading the two books from the Silver Birch Series and am very much looking forward to the other two. "Two Worlds as One" is my first signed book ever after attending Val's course.

How your inner healing powers work
Harry Edwards (1983)
Burrows Lea Country House Ltd.
This book has been sitting within arm’s reach for almost two years now. I have started it several times and still have not finished it — it invites slow and thoughtful reading.
